What you’ll do:

  • work internally with Project Management, Engineering and Programming team members, and
    externally with clients and contractors
  • onsite installation of all components necessary to successfully complete a project
  • assist the Programming team with system testing
  • update and maintain field drawings with onsite changes for transition to as-built drawings
  • in-shop pre-assembly of racks, panels, cable harnesses, etc. prior to project delivery
  • occasional pickups and transporting of project-related equipment/materials from suppliers and
    deliveries to jobsites

What you bring:

  • experience in professional AV systems installations, troubleshooting, and networking
  • strong mechanical, cable termination, and cable dressing skills
  • the ability to read and interpret technical and assembly drawings
  • operational understanding of various audio, video, control, and lighting systems; and the ability
    to program and configure these systems is an asset
  • thorough knowledge of the MS Office suite including Teams conferencing
  • a valid driver’s license, a clean abstract and the means by which to get you and your tools to
    various jobsites and our office
  • the ability to pass police and/or government security screenings as required
  • all the soft skills that one would expect to need for such a role – including oral & written
    communication, professional client-facing interaction, time management, and attention to
    detail

What you’ll do:

  • work internally with other departments and externally with clients, consultants and contractors
  • assess client needs, participate in system design and hardware selection, and develop control
    system architecture and graphical user interfaces
  • author system configurations and develop system testing protocols
  • upload, modify and debug control system code
  • troubleshoot and solve complex technical issues
  • contribute to system and project closeout documentation

What you bring:

  • experience in professional audio-visual systems installations, programming and commissioning
  • certifications: Biamp and Crestron (P301 or higher), QSYS, Dante, Extron, …
  • audio: experience with DSP programming, tuning, equalization, AEC, AES67
  • networking: the knowledge and ability to configure distributed Audio and Video systems (AVoIP)
    on a network, and to coordinate with client IT teams
  • proficiency in C#, HTML/CSS – and PowerShell is an asset
  • extensive knowledge of soft conferencing (Teams and Zoom)
  • comprehensive knowledge of the MS Office Suite
  • a valid driver’s license and a clean abstract
  • the ability to pass police and/or government security screenings as required
  • all the soft skills that one would expect to need for such a role – including oral and written
    communication, professional client-facing interaction, time management, and attention to detail
  • bonus points for CTS and Working at Heights certifications

  • the ability to pass police and/or government security screenings as required
